Middle and high school students in grades 8–12 are invited to explore careers in public safety during Discover VVC: Public Safety Multi-Discipline Day at Victor Valley College on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, held at the Public Safety Training Center in Apple Valley. This hands-on experience includes guided tours of Fire, EMS, and Criminal Justice programs, opportunities to visit state-of-the-art training facilities, and engagement with local employers to learn about public safety career pathways. Participants will also receive financial aid and college planning support. Schools must apply and be accepted to attend. Space is limited, with priority given to schools offering public safety pathway programs. Applications open January 7, 2026, and close January 30, 2026.
