Pathways: Automotive, Business, Finance & Marketing, Child Development & Education, Culinary & Baking
CTE educators in Automotive, Business, Child Development, and Culinary Arts are invited to collaborate on September 11, 2025. This session focuses on aligning and improving course content, planning for CTE events, and connecting with peers across pathways. All participating teachers must bring their current standards-aligned course outline drafts—whether complete or just starting—as well a laptop and any supplementary materials (e.g. textbooks, digital curriculum) they’ll need to revise or develop their outlines. Sector-specific groups will work together to strengthen instructional alignment and program quality.
Additional discussion topics include:
Advisory Committees – bring a list of industry partners and desired agenda topics
Competitions – be ready to discuss
Articulation – any support requests you may have (example: final exam)
Work-Based Learning – bring your calendar to plan activities and guest speakers
WBL/Fingerprinting Training – MDCP will include a post-meeting training if there’s interest
Lunch is provided. RSVP by August 27 to reserve your spot.
